Checklist

• Get people to join:
• If you're a student, look for a faculty sponsor or advisor to supervise and coach the team, and invite your friends who are looking for a challenge to hop on board.
• If you're a coach, find one student with the intellectual curiosity and open-mindedness needed to succeed in Academic Decathlon - in high school, news spreads fast.
• Reach out to us at team@massdecathlon.org to let us know your interest along with any questions or concerns you have.
• Apply for an USAD Curriculum Grant and get the official Academic Decathlon study materials for free.
• Check out the Coaches' Handbook for all of the nitty-gritty details you need to know for the upcoming competition season, from the official calculator policy to the Super Quiz relay format.
